I only ever had to adjust the main adjustments on any s&b I had. H is for up and R for Right and that all I needed. I never tinkered with the little dial, I dont even know what its for, I was afraid to play with them.

    S & B Hunting and Illuminated Scopes

Remove the turret caps. The elevation dial will be marked with either a “U” for up and a “D” for down, or an “H” for up and a “T” for down. The windage dial is marked with an “L” for left and an “R” for right. Turn either dial in the direction you need to correct the point of impact. Should you need more adjustment, corrections will need to be made to the mount. DO NOT attempt to loosen the small screw seen in the clear window as it has nothing to do with the reticle’s adjustment or control.

The LMR is just a dial that shows you how far into the adjustment of the scope you are.
