Do you currently have a TV package? It's hard to know where to start from really. Do you have a sattelite installed?

Do you have Eircom net by any chance? You can stream Setanta on that for free.

EDIT: Setanta is listed on the basic UPC package for EUR 26 here http://www.upc.ie/television/#

BBC show half of the races live and have decent highlights of the rest. You could get this free with a €25 sky dish and €20 box plus install. If you install bigger dish you can also pick up german RTL which have all the races live but its in german. BBC radio 5 live commentary works ok with this though.
Sky have all the races live but you need hd subscription minimum so that is over €40 per month but there would be introductory offers etc
    No idea re setanta.

If you have the HD package you get the Sky F1 channel as part of it. You don't need to have Sky Sports for this.

Didn't realise that. April 9th, according to this. I'd be rightly p*ssed off if they took it away from existing HD subscribers, having the F1 channel was the only reason I decided to get the package.

Same here but they couldnt really pull a channel like that seeing as they are still heavily advertising the current hd pack and using f1 as a main selling point.
I just took it out recently. Got a discount first on previous package then took hd at full rate so my hd is not on any kind of offer just in case they would use that excuse to switch me onto the new service.

Firefox & "media hint" extension works flawlessly and with hardly any lag for me.
