Apologies if the wrong forum. I wanted to get about 30 medals that my father has framed as a gift. I am finding it hard to get a adequate displsy case for them. How do you display your medals etc.?. Most of them are pretty grubby, how would I clean them? They are not all the same size either.

He also has about 13 plaques, does anyone do anything with them?

    Thanks.

Runner's World asked fans to post how they display their medals on the facebook page recently: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151211838376987.439858.9815486986&type=1

Something like this would be cool as a coffee table with a glass top,

maybe they might be able to come up with something custom? (one's they have aren't really suitable if you want to keep the ribbon attached to the medal)(

my wife got me a display from here. Bought from United States but arrived quite quickly. Good quality as well.

Having said that I also like BeepBeeps coffee table idea. Just depends how "in your face" your dad wants to display these I suppose.

Any company that hangs jerseys etc for sports memorabilia should be able to help with a custom framing solution for your medals.

I lilke the idea of mounting a medal, race number and a finishers photo for a key race, say first marathon, etc.

I do like the idea of the coffee table for a lot of medals. Could also be an alternative for a home desk top where he might spend time etc.

I made this one, piece of wood for putting house numbers and a few dowels. Came out OK, might need an extension :)
