I think he kinda knows it's on RTE2 & is wondering if it will be blacked out on Sky in NI due to rights issues . . .

Obviously has no other means of receiving RTE & the match isn't FTA anywhere else.

I am not sure if it will be blocked or not. There is another option if it is, SaorSAT. It gives 100% coverage of NI and is not blocked. It is free per month. It requires a different dish and LNB, but it would be an option, possibly for future games if blocked. There is a different thread to discuss it:

It's al;ways the same - blocked on rte on sky NI subs, - it will be blcoked on the freeview hd mini mux and it will be free to air on saorsat, saorview and roi sky and upc subs! - it will also be blocked on virgin cable for ni customers!

And just to confirm, yes, it was blocked on RTÉ2 on Sky NI subscription.

Luckily, the DTT stick I have in my Vu+ decided to work, which is rare

It's a digital terrestrial tuner that plugs into a usb port on the receiver, adding to its satellite tuner(s).

Was it available in NI from Aertv.ie, or is that geo blocked requiring a work-around?
