Things seemed ok last week but this week she is just snapping at me and I don't really understand it. Hi there

Bosses are human too :-)

It could be work or personal life stress, possibly nothing to do with you.

A polite inquiry to show that you care may be appreciated.

That may get you a good reference, if they remember you as the person that cared enough to ask.
