Looking for some tyres

Im moving the boat to a new place and at full tides shes gonna be banging up against the wall. I was to looking to get a few tyres to hang over the side. So went round one or two tyre shops and they wont entertain the idea of selling old ones. Probably looking for about 5 or 6 tyres for each side... so about 10-12 in all. I see plenty of the farmers have stacks of tyres in the yards, probably over 100 tyres handy.... so where are you lads getting them from.

Jaysus lads. Its well for ye's. I cant even find a place that will sell them never mind give them out for nothing. I got a string of nonesense about environment issues and what would happen if I went and dumped them somewhere.... "yeh... lads.. Ive nothing else to be at with my time then going around getting old tyres in garages just to dump in a field/river later that night"
