While it looks awesome, storywise there's feck all Hollywood can do to mess it up. From what's shown, the premise is essentially Battlestar Galactica. With a bit of luck he'll be able to put a new spin on it and it'll be the start of a long career. Otherwise he'll be chewed up and spat out like so many others.
