i dont think any of them is something the lads in here will be interested in. if you have a mobile in your pocket then i cant see any additional purpose it would serve.

I like the look of the Sony. Very 70's ScFi.

I have the sony one, I was suffering from tennis elbow and it was killing me taking my phone in and out of my pocket and just generally checking it, it was pretty handy, I could see text messages coming in and what they contained, missed calls and was able to answer calls on my bluetooth headset without having to touch my phone, was also handy out walking I could control the music on my phone without having to take it out.
It also told the time and weather, and it's actually ok looking and very light to wear.

It's now sitting in my glove box, but I will use it again, I don't wear a watch every day but if I was it wouldn't be the worst choice if your a heavy phone user or addicted to twitter etc.

I think I prefer the look of the sony..

If you use a bluetooth headset while out walking or at work these are very useful...

Be handy when cycling. I usually have my phone tucked away from the rain.

Yea it's handy for cycling as well, I haven't got it drenched in water but it has has a few splashes of rain but it's fine, you can take the watch off the strap very quickly when it start to pour...

Not sure how much the samsung is but the sony is sub €100 , the i'm watch starts at €249 going up to €14999 (no it's not a typo 15 grand for smartwatch:eek:)

    forgot to mention "i'm watch"

I can sort of see how it might be handy if you're in meetings or whatever where you don't want to be seen to be checking your phone too often, but I don't think one of these is for me.

That said, I could (and probably eventually will) get one down the road if they look a bit more like a watch that has some phone integration, rather than a mini computer with a clock on it

I'd say for it to be successful it'd have to display more information though.

What's with the Jap Knock off's?

Go for a vintage Sony Instead (Well when I say vintage, pre 2012)

    or

    Proper Old School

I so nearly bought all those watches when they first came out...

That one was Chinese, not Japanese but it doesn't really matter. I was just showing the style, not a particular model.

The first SE one is more what I'd have in mind, but the more I think about it, I'm struggling to think if I'd ever be arsed getting one - despite liking both gadgets and watches.
