Rationel Windows installed wrong ?

Hi need some advice into an issue I have just noticed with my floor level window.

We moved into new house 5 years ago but only noticed this recently when I saw
a small green sprout growing from the bottom of the window , INSIDE.

upon inspection I noticed that the window is resting on just a piece of plywood which has been put on the sash/sill to bring it level with the door frame and door saddle.

Can some one look at the attached picture and advise what my course of action would be to rectify this as it is an obvious fail of sealing & insulation.

Could you also reccomend someone that could do a proper report into this being possible installed incorrectly in case this has to go down the legal road.

The house was built by a well known and reputable company but the more I look at the costruction of the house the more faults I see.
I have not contacted the builder yet as I would like to get as much info as possible in case I get fobbed off.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated

That's not great! I would suggest that somebody messed up on the measurements somewhere along the line.

Ply packers like that/those you show in the photos are not uncommon, especially with the type of (metal) cill you have but never should be left exposed.

It will be hard to point the finger at who exactly is responsible, the builder will blame the window company and, no doubt, vice versa.

Did you have the house snagged? Should really have been picked up at that stage as it is quite obvious.

A forensic consulting engineer is what you need. Try <SNIP>

If thats what I get for being helpful I'll amend the other 2 posts I made this morning mentioning other suppliers.
The consulting engineer I mentioned has quite a bit of fenestration experience and given there is a fundamental problem there (which sealing won't eliminate) hence the considered advice
    Thanks for the field guidance.

Please read the forum charter before posting here again.

You have three posts today recommending companies/businesses on thread which clearly breaches Section 3.(a) of the forum charter, then you post the above in clear breach of Section 2.2., despite the fact that the only sanction you got was one warning.

    That stops now.

Indeed it does as I am not prepared to put up with such nonsense.
