WANTED: caliper brake part

    Howdy.

    I'm looking for a specific part for a caliper brake. If anyone had a dodgy caliper brake they were going to throw out, this part might be on it.

    In the attached photo, it's the part I'm holding. It is a pin with a clamp at one end that is used to grip the brake cable, usually near the quick release lever.

    In the following diagram, the top bit of part number 2 is the part I need (not the other two bits):

    I have a pair of tektro calipers I'm not using.
    You can have them if they're of any use to you.

    Yes! They'd be perfect. The existing brakes are Tektro (extra long reach, though) so hopefully the parts are interchangeable. I'll PM you.
