I bought a Sharp TV model LC-40LE240EX. The TV works fine.
The problem is when I connect up my DVD player & play, everything is green. I use a Scart cable to connect them.
    What causes this problem?
    How can I fix it?
Thanks in advance for reples, ideas & suggestions.

More than likely the scart cable isn't plugged in right, or is damaged.

Also check the output setting of the DVD player. It may be set to s-video. This can sometimes give a b&w or poor colour screen.

The problem turned out to be the scart cable. I tried 3 or 4 that were lying around & one of them worked. I hadn't realized how easily damaged they were.
