What I mean is, what original thing have you done to add to the internet? I don't mean what have you re-shared from Reddit or Facebook or whatever but what new thing?
Do you often write book/film/album/restaurant reviews?
Do you write a blog or host a video log?
    Do you contribute to wikipedia?
Do you take photos or a certain theme or type?
    Anything else perhaps?

Feel free to link to any of it.

Nothing you mentioned is original. Nothing.

    Shame on you.

I helped a young guy struggling with his sexuality see some sense and got him passed thoughts of giving up on everything. Changed a few negative perspectives people had on being gay for the better as well.

I'm honestly just a big waste of bandwidth talking nonsense but I can say that for those times I did do some good a least. Earned my keep a bit :P

Two podcasts, music and the occasional piece of visual art. I'm hoping to get better at animation and start making (Very) short films.

EDIT: I also tab songs for the ukulele.

EDIT II: EDIT HARDER: Not sure if I'm gonna regret this or not, but here are the podcasts:

Here is some music: https://soundcloud.com/bipolar-joe (Not a good representation)

    Here is some visual art:

I hung out on a stop smoking forum (one located in the states) and have helped many people quit smoking. Haven't been back in years but a few still keep in contact and they have stayed quit.

I was a former smoker, so maybe that is how I could help since I had been where these people were while quitting. Support does make a big difference.

I thanked that not because you write shiite but it best describes what my little contribution is to the Internet!

That and start a few rows on YouTube. I'm sad like that.

In 1994 the little publishing company I co-owned in the UK, started a magazine about the business of what was then called Multi Media - digital imaging, interactive CDs, and this other thing people were talking about called the Internet.

We were the first magazine to talk about the Internet in non-techie terms and concentrated on it's potential as a marketing tool, sales outlet and media device.

Things we envisaged on paper would actually happen in real life pretty much the month following publication. It was a very exciting time. The likes of Sainsburys and the BBC no less were basing their Internet strategies on what we were telling them.

However, the big publishers soon cottoned on to us and threw huge amounts of money launching their owns mags and within a couple of years the magazine was gone!

Still, we did it first and no one can take that away from us!

I probably read your magazine at some stage, if it wasn't one of those "PC Format" types that were 90% advertising and 10% actual content (kind of like the way the Internet is gone nowadays actually!).

Back in the early 90's my brother and I built and hosted our own tech site, pretty much same as above, but it was left to me then to carry it on and I didn't have the inclination to keep it going, so it went into decline and disappeared in the Internet ether.

I've worked in the background setting up and working on a couple of sites since, but my main background is in software engineering, and something that really puts me off is unsociable networking is becoming a prominent force on the Internet, so I find myself pulling back an awful lot from it.

    Straight from 1992 diagram :

    Source of audio ----> encoder
    (internet)
    > stream host ----( internet)
    > listeners

    |
    Your house
    |

All sorts of variations on the above - some servers will have playlists to fall back on

Some are free up to x amount of listeners

    http://www.wavestreaming.com/

    http://www.streammystation.com/product1.htm

    http://www.caster.fm/register.php

    http://www.metacdn.com/pricing.jsp <
bit of video streaming with $30 free credit

All the above is just in the messin about category & i'm sure there is a million better ways - i dunno much about it

I used to upload videos of myself playing guitar to YouTube until someone uploaded a video and left about twenty comments about me on his own video. Some of these comments were about how I should kill myself and others were false, libelous comments about my personal life. After I contacted YouTube and they refused to take them down saying "sorry, we don't see a problem with these comments" I deleted all my videos.

I now have loads of videos on another site, but no one watches them. That's fine with me. I've settled for no views rather than hundreds of views and comments from total morons.

I've also uploaded a few pictures to a couple of photo sites, none of which are anywhere near professional standard, but I kind of like them.
