Just wondering must you stay with an insurance company for a period of time if you had an accident and made a claim even if you had no claims bonus protection and you want to insure another car afterwards?

    Thanks.

    No you don't.
But not many insurers will be happy to insure you, considering you had a claim recently, and from those who will, there might be very little or no insurers who will accept your NCB which was protected.

Thought as much. My insurance company have being cnuts to me with my claim, car was a write off in first place and will more than likely cost me a bomb to transfer over insurance to my next car. Renewal season will be fun when it does come. If there was any loophole I could go through I nearly would at this stage and give them the two fingers.
