I'm in a rush to buy a new laptop as my 3 year old one died yesterday and i need one for tomorrow or latest Thursday. It seems that the best value is online but unfortunately that doesn't work for me so I'm heading to PC world as its close.

I'm looking for something fairly basic as i use it to browse, micrsoft office and the occasional Vincent Browne or documentary. I'm hoping to spend between 300 and 500 EUR but have very little knowledge about laptops. Any advice on a good option from the PC world link below would be greatly appreciated,

    Cheers:confused:

In a rush, you'll be loosing a lot of money. The "fastest" laptop in this selection (if you can call them fast with a straight face) has a Celeron B830 processor and costs €440. This would buy you a Core i5 laptop if you're ordering online (and you probably have enough money left to cover "express delivery").

    Hi Torquay,

that sounds like an interesting option. Would you have a link where i could express order something like what you suggested?

    Cheers

If you're in Dublin, you can collect at Elara: Acer Core i5, 6 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD for €475

They rarely have stuff physically in stock. Best ring them first to check!
