I started a new job in the middle of last year after. When I was applying for a refund of USC and tax for 2012 at the start of this year, I was asked if I buy or clean my own uniform, for which I received a small refund for.

Had to apply for it again this year this year as was not listed on my tax credit cert for 2013, when I received the new tax cert it equated to a tax credit of less than €1 week, and as an expense which raised my tax band by over €200.

Now as my annual salary whould even reach the original band, let alone this new one, I'm wondering if this information is correct, and should the credit by higher.
