Replacement PS3 cases?

Hi guys, I purchased a few second hand PS3 games on Amazon/ZOverstocks. I want to give them as a birthday gift but the cases on a few are quite battered. Is it possible to buy replacement cases to make them look a lot better? I read somewhere that Sony don't allow it in order to combat piracy? Thanks! :)
