I am organising a stag party for my brother. He and a good few of his friends live in london so i don't want to do the UK or Ireland.
All of the lads will be able to afford a weekend away abroad.
Any ideas for a good european location?

I had a great time in Prague 2 years ago, some great bars and restaurants, people super friendly plus it's cheap. Maybe a bit obvious for a stags but if money isn't too much of an option how about Copenhagen, cheap enough flights at the moment with Aer Lingus & SAS in healthy competition on the route. Not a cheap city by any means but something different.

Berlin? Great city, cheap connections, good value hotels, good pubs/niteclubs. East to get to from both London and Ireland.

    Madrid is great too.

About 20 of us went to Stuttgart last year. Really nice city with some lovely pubs and restaurants. We went at the time of the beer festival there so that was nice and lively.
There's also a great pub and nite life scene and the red light district is great craic if that's the kind if thing your looking for ;)

Went to Amsterdam for min last June. Only 8 of us so we rented an apartment which was brilliant. It was a bit suburban but dirt cheap and on a tram line to the city centre. Spend most of the weekend around the Leidesplein area, tons of restraunts and bars. Depends on the type of Stag you want, we pretty much bailed out of the red light after dark back to Leidesplein. Cracking city in summer and pretty easy to get to from UK/Ire

    Hamburg or Prague are best.

I wouldnt rule out the UK totally because some of the lads are based in London. I have been on a few stags in Newcastle - bloody good craic up there. Although funny thing, it would be cheaper for the lads to fly to Europe than get the train up from London!

As previous posted stated Berlin is an excellent choice for lads living in Dublin/London. Good choice of flights from both dublin & london. Going here on another stag next month. Have used www.pissup.com a good few times. Wouldn't use them for transfer or accomodation but certainly for activities etc.

Having said that a stag is all about the group going. Some of the best stags i have been on have been in places like Westport or Liverpool

I'd recommend Prague or Krakow, both great cities, cheap drinks and food, beautiful cities and easily accessible from Ireland by Ryanair or other airlines. I spent 4 nights in both a few years back and loved them. Prague maybe a bit more then Krakow but would easily go back. I was with a group of 5 lads too and it was great.
