Fox Sports 1 launches in America in August. It will show a variety of sports including UFC. It may also show The Ultimate Fighter aswell.
It looks like there is plans to have UFC fight nights on Wednesdays for at least 12 shows a year. Sounds good.

I'm still wondering if UFC will end up on Sky Sports. The timing of the launch of Fox Sports 1 is August and the tv rights for UFC in the UK and Ireland is supposed to be up in August. It might be a nice coincidence to launch it on both channels at the same time.

Apparently Dana has said this will never happen.

I wonder will Fox Sports be released over here too. There'll be somewhere for us to watch it but there doesn't seem to be any rush by the UFC to get us sorted over this side of the Atlantic.

Yeah, when UFC was in the Royal Albert Hall, they had it on PPV. Leading up to it, they had lots of highlights shows. It was pretty awesome.

When ESPN is taken over by BT, they're keeping one channel running here. So I presume, at least in the short-term, that channel will keep the rights to UFC. Though they may move it to BT too. Either way BT bought out all of their old rights in the deal. It's just a case of when the UFC deal in the UK was up.

Ive never heard that but thats not cause he doesnt want it to happen. Thats cause Sky have never shown an interest in promoting UFC and would want to put it on PPV which Dana knows would kill any growth. There may also be an issue with the WWE on Sky.

Fox wont be released over here. Sure Sky and Fox are owned by Rupert Murdock so he'd be competing with his own company.

Dana says lots of things. No to women in the UFC for example
