Sachsenhausen, Berling - how long?

It's about an hour on the tram. You take the tram (can't remember which one) to a town called Orienenburg. It's easy to find on the tram/tube map as it's at the end of the line it's on. When you get off the tram it's about a 10 minute walk to Sachsenhausen and it's well signposted. Given that you will probably spend at least two hours there you'd want to give yourself at least 4 hours allowing for travel time.

There's no need to book anything. Tram is public transport part of the metro so if you are using public transport you'll already have a ticket. Sachsenhausen is free to get into as are many of the Holocaust memorials so no booking necessary. So you just kinda wander in. They have those audio tour things for a few euro I think.

If you were to make shapes to start travelling out at around 8am you would be there by 9. Giving yourself 2 hours to see the place and heading back around 12 you'd still be in central Berlin by 1 ish.
