Recently bought an 09 mondeo but there are no alloys on it. All I know is that they are 5 stud. Looking at the Internet trying to price second hand ones and there Is mention of stuff like 5x100 and 5x108 etc etc

Anyone know what I should be looking for?

As I'm looking for a cheap set does anyone know what other cars alloys would suit? VW, Seat etc and if there is anywhere near Dublin that do cheap alloys? Even from a breakers yard

    Thanks

They are 5x108 afaik, buying from a breakers yard is usually a false economy, if they have been sitting outside for a long period you will then need to buy new tyres for them. Donedeal is probably your best bet for second hand alloys

On a recent car you really need to get the proper ford ones.
Tatty alloys or ones from another manufacturer don't look better than wheel trims

This advert says these 16" will fit a Mondeo but I'd verify that first:

    Hi,

I am in the saem position as Tunner.

I need new alloys with new tyres though.

I have been looking at the below link.

What size would best suit my 140bhp 2.0 tdci Mondeo Mark 4. I like the look of 18" but I'm afraid they make increase fuel consumption and decrease power. 17" look good also but I am unsure.

What do you guys think is most suitable?

    Thanks for your help.

Far as I can see they're both 5x108 with a 63.4 centre bore
