    On currently Active users?....is there a hierarchy system?...is my rightful status finally being acknowledged?

    It's because you have yourself set to "Use Invisible Mode" in your User CP. Under "Settings & Options", click on "Edit Options" and then under "Login & Privacy" is where you can change it if you want. Just take the tick out of the box and click on "Save Changes" down the bottom, and you are no longer invisible.

    It goes by the person who refreshed the page soonest on*. So, the person at the end probably left boards running and haven't refreshed in a while. Or, just haven't refreshed as fast as others, I guess.

    *So, you having just refreshed the page puts you at first.
