I have often ran past traffic speed indicators and wondered if I actually ran fast enough would it record my speed. Today on my long run was on the road behind the dun laoghaire rail line and I couldn't believe it was showing 12/13 km per hour.

Maybe its stuck on that and it just happens to be the pace you might run at.
It brought on a welcome smile to the later stages of quite a wet and cold 2 hr run.

I have run past that one several times and had it trigger showing my approximate speed. Most of them don't, but one or two of them will trigger occasionally. Not sure how they work, but probably more likely to work if wearing high-viz or fluorescent. Fun!

I pass one sometimes I'm glad it doesn't flash my speed.
    Maybe I'm going too slow!

Hang on, its in Dun Laoghaire.

Surely the market can support a highly inflated entry fee for an event like that on the East Coast, charge €50!!
