I have to buy extra fodder, I have the option of buying haylage or silage.

I have both weanlings and suckler cows (half of which are calved)

Both the silage and haylage costs the same

what should I buy ie what has the best feed value

Probably be best to get it tested before purchasing?
You will know exactly what quality you are getting then

I would go for a taste of haylage myself.
