Myself and my wife are looking to go on a sun holiday in May with our daughter who will be 7 months old.
We just want a lazy holiday with good weather beside the sea and not too far away as our daughter is not a good traveller!
We were think somewhere in the mediterranean.
Anyone got any suggestions as to where would be a good place and what are the best websites to book on for the best deals?

We use Keycamp holidays for Mobile homes in the south of France. We have stayed in Camping La Chapelle in Argeles sur Mer three times over the last three years. It is a toddler friendly campsite, with a nice small pool, it is literally 4 walk minutes from the beach which is always absolutely spotless. You can fly to Girona in Spain (ryanair) or Perpingnan (Aerlingus), and it is a little over an hour drive from there. With good priced flights, car hire and 10 or 14 days there, we usually spend €1500 in May. My daughter was 14 months the first time we went, and we are considering returning this year, but are waiting until after the birth of my second child in the next week or two before deciding whether to go or not. We will definitely go next year.

    Try the keycamp site here.

Otherwise Eurocamp are present on site too.

Have a look for the locations on site called HotSpots-Great views, as they tend to be towards the edge of the site with views over a vineyard and the mountains in the background.

The camp site is located in Argeles Sur Mer which is a little "resorty" for my liking, but ten minutes drive from there is a beautiful town called collioure which is great for spending the evenings strolling through narrow streets with great restaurants, unusual shops and great icecream.

Let me know if you want any further info.

The towns of Girona, Argeles sur Mer, and Collioure are all highlighted on the map in this link Google Map

and the location of the campsite is marked on this one google map
