    so went online to book, only dates available are may 9th onwards.just wondering can i still drive the car.after it expires next saturday.:confused: its insured and taxed .

    Keep calling them in the evenings and ask for a cancellation. I did that last week and got one easily enough

    Legally no, you can't drive it.

    That is more than 4 wks away, you might be entiled to a free test.

    OP, just so that you know for next time to avoid this situation, you can book the NCT 6 months in advance of it's due date if it is the car's first NCT or 3 months in advance if it's the car's second or subsequent NCT.
