I think he meant bookmakers in the ring. Ladbrokes, Victor Chandler and Will Hills all have stands. Boylesports only have a bookmakers in their box, the same with Paddy Power at the November meeting.

Thats it exactly oscars, with all the millions that are changing hands why are they not amongst the scores of other bookies who are laying prices on the ground. To be honest I think that the bookies there need some fresh challenge to wake them up.There was nobody who was willing to go against the norm and show a better price than every other bookie.I have seen more lively markets on every racecourse in Ireland.I purposely checked up to fifty boards in different races and there was no bookie with the balls to lay a better price than everyone else on the market leader (lucky for them)

I agree, there was little or no variation in prices.. The only example I saw was Betfred going 3/1 on Bobs Worth. I was queing up to place a bet and saw a £10,000 bet, two £7,000 bets and a £6,000 bet laid by them. Great to see them get nailed :pac: BetChronicle were going win only on the Champion Chase, fcuking ridiculous! A bit more competition would do no harm!
