I got my stove installed a few weeks ago, when I open the door to refuel it alot os smoke comes out, I open the doors slowly but once I put in a bit of coal or timber lots of smoke comes out so much so my eyes be watering and the kitchen looks like a haze of smoke.
Is this all part of stoves or have I got a problem?

Is there a vent in your room?
How long is the flue pipe?
    How many bends on it?

Flue pipe is ten inches from stove then has a 45 degree angle then another foot into the wall it, I have a vent in the room

Is the vent pushing air into room or drawing air out? We had similar problem but found our vent was drawing air out most of the time.

Test the flue with a draught gauge.

Our vent was able to hold a page from a news paper up against it for a few seconds.
