Anyone know which type of 757-200 it is? Delta use about five different versions.

    Plane registration number if possible

Do they serve free booze transatlantic? I think they gave one wine free 5 years ago if you wanted it.

It is not the same aircraft everyday so impossible to give reg.

In previous years they used the ex TWA aircraft (ones with TW at the end of the reg). I believe they have PTVs

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's always the ex TWA 757s that they use! I was talking to one of the lads who does line maintenance for them in Shannon and he said its only the 757's with the RB211 engine that they get, which is the ex TWA ones, Deltas other 757's have PW2000 afaik!

Flew in 2010, had ptv's and winglets. Was painted in the skyteam colours out bound. and pizza and ice cream served just before we landed in JFK, yummy, bit of fruit cake and a banana on the way back. Main course's were lovely as well.

Just in terms of their cabin crew and service I have found their cabin crew and inflight service to be appalling. Ryanair is actually a dream compared to some experiences I've had flying Delta both trans-atlantic and domestic US. On one particular flight from JFK to Dublin I actually had to raise concerns about the mental fitness of one of it's cabin crew to be in charge of passengers before the flight departed such was her hostile and aggressive attitude. I asked her a simple request and the lady in question appeared to just snap. I almost thought she was going to assault me. From what I understand Delta does not have a good record of treating it's employees well and I believe it shows in the standard of service.

I know this is not the question you asked but I'm just relaying my experience and would be very wary about flying with them again even if their air fares were cheaper than Aer Lingus. Safety and wellbeing of passengers is paramount.

Free beer and wine in economy. $7 for spirits and mixer. Free wine, beers and spirits in Economy comfort which are rows 19-21. The charge is €50 per flight. If you selected 19a or 19f these are not charged for as they are not economy comfort (exit door slide sticks a bit out but not bad seats). Check out seat guru for the 757 intercontinental -200's they use. They have the seat back IFE system and the service is good plus they'll have you hours into JFK ahead of Aer Lingus.

So i would be charged this when i am putting through my bag? If so i will change the seat. It's a j1 trip, ordinary balance which is payable by 21st March.
