Absolutely fine. It was snowing this morning. You don't get much more wintery than that. Go for it.

I wear black tights all year, if it's cold enough! I don't think I've gone bare-legged in years, except on holidays.

I don't understand women who put themselves through the torture of bare legs when it's freezing - or even a lot in summer, considering it's still Ireland! It's definitely fine to wear black tights in March. You can always brighten it up with colourful shoes, scarf and accessories.

Or try different coloured tights; M&S do really nice velvet touch tights in purple, wine and navy. They're part of my staple wardrobe, and make a black dress look far more interesting. I'm sure penneys, new look etc would have nice coloured tights. American Apparel definitely do, they're always in the window, but I've never bought any there.

I wear tights practically year round. Partly because I'm not comfortable with my pasty legs, but mostly due to weather :)

It's rarely warm enough to be uncomfortably hot in tights :D

Black can be very.....ordinary and dull, although it obviously depends on the shade/denier.

Try coloured or skin-usually a much better choice.

I wear tights year round too!!!
The only time I don't is if it's really warm, or if I'm going clubbing and will be dancing a lot.

Bare legs look stupid unless it is warm. The weather should dictate what you wear not the month considering we live in Ireland.

I'm not mad about color tights unless you have great legs. I think black or skin color is best. But if you are afraid it will look too boring you could pick patterned tights. I usually avoid horizontal lines.

I wear tights nearly 100% of the time - mainly for warmth and also because I work in a professional environment. The only time I go bare-legged is when I'm on personal time and the weather is plenty warm.

Ah lads, seriously? I hate how Irish girls feel like they have to go bare legged, especially on nights out. I think I go out bare legged on average 2 nights every year in this country. It's freeezing!

And black tights looks great, never go out of fashion.

Skin coloured tights are absolutely mank...in my opinion!

Black tights don't go with everything. You need good quality skin colored tights and never more than 20 den.if you are wearing pastel colors they are essential. They are also part of the etiquette for formal occasions. It's not so important here but in warmer countries black ones don't look great in the summer.
