    Door handle sticking on a 08 golf,anyone know where can get a second hand one in the north west.Went to vw garages:eek: as regards price to fix:mad:

    Not sure of the particulars of those door handles but might be worth trying this on the catch.

    The problem is most likely the door latch mechanism itself rather than the handle. Don't waste your time with a secondhand part. Get some prices from independent garages to supply and fit a new part.

    Was thinking this myself.:(its not stick on a bit of grease it will be grand job.vw garages was up near 200 to do this job..labour and bla bla bla:mad:

    Not sure,rough quote.Did not get it tied down until i be sure was going ahead.Got the impression that labour was a lot of it

    The majority of the cars we see with those symptoms need a new door lock mechanism but I don't think there is much chance that you will get one of those supplied and fitted for €200 by a main dealer so they must be quoting for something else entirely.
