    Hallo,

Mods please move if this shouldn't be here.

A friend is looking to set up a garage, and would like to know where to source service parts in bulk like the below.

    Oil filters
    Air filters
    Brake pads
    Plugs
    Linkages

Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated:)

Maybe Team PR Reilly? I know they deal to the public, but AFAIK they do trade stuff too. Linky: http://www.team.ie/

Tell him to subscribe to Autobiz magazine. All the main suppliers advertise in it.

I don't mean to be flippant, but if he doesn't know enough about the trade to know where to get parts, maybe he shouldn't open a garage.

Maybe the chap has already secured one source for these items but asked his friend to find out if there was further saving to be had by purchasing them online? He might be well versed in the requirements for the trade but not so well versed in thow to best use the resources on the internet to eek out a better deal than he already has available to him.

Could be worth a try. I only deal with them for my own cars, but I know they mostly deliver to garages rather than the public.
