    Hi guys

Am cycling to Galway from Maynooth next Friday Mar 22nd and back to Maynooth on Sunday March 24th.

Any indication at this stage what the weather will be like on those days?

    3 Day Outlook
There's very little change expected in the outlook period.

Monday night will see wintry showers continuing, especially in the northeast and east, elsewhere there'll be longer clear spells. Temperatures overnight will again be sub zero, down to as low as minus 3 degrees in places and winds will be mainly light northerly.

Tuesday will see sunny spells and scattered, wintry showers. Temperatures during the day will be between 5 and 7 degrees. Winds generally will be moderate to fresh northeast to east. The winds will be lighter in the south of the country but along eastern and northeastern parts those winds will be fresh to strong at times, especially at the coast, making it feel colder still there.

Little or no change on Wednesday although there'll be better clear spells and with lighter winds it will feel like a better day. Winds will fall mainly light easterly or variable.

Winds will freshen on Thursday but it'll be mostly dry, still cold though and still below freezing at night.

The further outlook in to next weekend is for the cold spell to continue with current indications suggesting strong easterly winds and outbreaks of rain.

    OOPS!

By the looks of it you must either be at home cos it was cancelled or else you are now drenched and frozen!

    Which is it?
