Irish Air Corp in WW2

Hi,

does anyone have any photos of an Irish Air Corp Arvo Anson, as used during WW2?

Wikipedia has a photo saying the Arvo Anson was used from 1946 onwards, I think im looking for the Avro Anson Mark I maritime patrol bombers.

The Air corps used Anson Mk1s in the medium Bombing and reconnaisance squadron,during the emergency; the one in the pic is a Mk 19.

Hi Mick,

Thanks for those links. Some interesting photos for sure. You may be interested in this short article I wrote about arvo 41 which ditched in the sea off Galway in 1939. All crew rescued.
