Why are they allowed to cut down trees that have been growing for 150 years , especially in Irish Heritage sites ?

could have been diseased and at risk of coming down anyway, or could be part of a long term management plan

Also creates a habitat for various creatures, mosses, mushrooms, fungai and for nature in general.

A fair few times,if a tree needs to be taken down for safety sake, then its is left to lye on the ground and rot as like nature intended it.

It is also benificial to the ground and to other creatures too.

    Simples.:)
