Hard to believe the flat season gets under way next Saturday.

Now Im not gonna try and pick this apart because it looks impossible but the one I have had my eye on for this race has been John Gosden's LAHAAG.

God knows what sort of ground they will see next week.

I'll be all over Educate if he gets into this or in the consolation race. Still a truck load more to come after he lost his manly bits.

With the ground going to ride heavy in my opinion the likely well bred horses will be in trouble. The draw has not been made and neither have the decs but a horse to watch no matter where it runs is Michael Applebys Bancnuanaheireann 33/1.Ground will not be a problem for this gelding and he ran an eye catching race last time at Lingfield where the ground would have been a bit quick. He was only beaten 2L in last years Cambridgeshire of 91 .
