Basically hat does you weekly wash involve and how long does it take you?

I just washed the car there and it took me an 1h 20min from when I went out to when I got in again. That time involved
    • Taking everything out
    • rinsing the car down
    • Filling the 3 buckets (warm water for winter :D )
    • Wash the wheels
    • wash the body rinsing each panel as I go
    • rinse the body down with a free stream of water to dry it off
    • dry it
    • quick detail body and the door jams
    • re dry any dribbles that come out of the mirrors etc
    • wash out mits etc
    • put everything away

I still have to do tyre dressing because the tyres are still wet.

    What about you?

Leave wheels to last, actually second last - then do the sills and arches.

The regular weekly type wash....not that Ive much time for it now....but my old method was

    Set up the Power Washer
    Snowfoam with Cotton Candy
Go get a few bits ready
Rinse off the snowfoam, wash off heavy dirty on the wheels
    Snowfoam
Go get the two buckets ready
Clean the wheels with long wheel brush for the backs and a detailing brush fo the faces and tight corners of the spokes
APC the tyres so the dressing bonds well
    Rinse
    Wash with a good mitt
    Rinse
Dry with a good microfiber drying towel
    Hoover
    Clean interior glass
Apply tryre dressing; usually dry by this stage
If the car's protection isnt realively fresh I might use a gloss booster spray....something along the lines of V7...Perfection is my current favourite...works on paint, glass, trim..,pretty much everywhere

Give it about 30mins and go out and dry it again, as its probably rained!

Then think about when I might have time to do a proper job on it - really needs a bit of TLC with a machine, pads and polish! :o

Generally I clean my car every weekend depending on how busy I am.
    Pull out power washer.
    Wash the car.
    Clean alloys at the end.
    Dry it.
    Put on some detailer.
    Put everything away.
Every second week I Hoover inside.
    Clean the dash and sills.
    Clean all the windows.
    Put everything away.
It generally takes me between an hour and two hours depending.

    Soak
    Bucket and brush
    Wheel brush
    Rinse again
Repeat process every 3 months :pac:

Windows I clean when needed so that's more frequent....

I should add that I do the glass every other week and shake out the floor mats. About every month I do the interior properly about once a month. When I add that it take s just about 2 hours
