Would anyone know where I can search old evening herald papers. I'm not sure of the date I'm after but would estimate it around the early part of 1993.
I think the front cover would tell me whether or not it's the issue I'm looking for.
I just found this website, but of all the papers it covers, it doesn't have the Evening Herald!

I don't know if you've found this. If not, you can go to Pearse Street Library Reading Room on the 2nd Floor. You need to sign up for a research room ticket (it's free).

They have the Evening Herald on microfilm up to 1995 and in hard copy after that.

Don't forget that the Herald produces two Issues, the National and the City/ City Final. If the item that you recall being printed in a Herald was on one issue front page it is very possible that it would NOT be on the other issue.
Have you tried the Herald in Talbot Street?

On the microfilm you often get both versions. It means that it takes a lot longer to scroll through. You're seeing 2 versions (and sometimes more) of the same paper.

Innisfails Dublin Junior Football Champions 1948

Would anyone know where I could get information on this team. I tried the club but very little information available. One player in particular that I would love information on is Joe (The Red) Maguire who I believe also played for Dublin.
