Now that the Irish Times website has been redesigned, I wish they'd give the RTE News website an overhaul too. Not that they're in any way comparable of course, but I'm sick and tired of seeing the same fecking thing, day in, day out.

Did they not just redesign it there a couple of years ago? Site seems fine to me... don't fix what's not broken.

Shouldn't cost much, RTE are great at finding good deals and spending wisely

And while they are at it, they should replace some of the newsreaders on RTE. Sharon Ni Bholain is one of the most awkward, stuttery presenters in the country. She trips over words, poses instead of looking at the camera and cant interview to save her life, woeful. Also, Eileen Dunne should also move on, she has been there long enough now, time for some new fresh faces.

I think it's much better than it was, I've no issues with it now

how about we redesign how the money raised from the tv license fee is distributed. By redeisign i mean cut the fee in half, close some of the less popular radio stations and cut staff wages by 50% as the irish people struggling to pay for bank debt, food and water cant afford to pay for their lavish overpaid salaries.

It isn't broke, leave it alone.

Both the Irish Times and The Irish Independent have made their sites almost unreadable recently, probably in an attempt to make them ipad friendly .
