Thursday marked the fourth night of protests following the death of Kimani Gray, the 16-year-old boy shot and killed by NYPD officers outside his best friend's house in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Although police maintain Gray was armed and pointed a weapon at officers, his death has provoked outrage among residents who are demanding justice.

Dozens of demonstrators have since been arrested and a police officer suffered a wound to his face after a being hit by an object.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who said a "full and fair" investigation into the shooting would be conducted, urged community members to abstain from violence.

"I understand that there's anger in the community, but the way to get answers is not through violence or law-breaking," Bloomberg said. "We cannot tolerate that, and we will not tolerate that."

    What say you OP?

I say if you are stupid enough to point a weapon, real or imitation at armed police....you are going to have a bad day.

No, it's the "post up some random story and offer no opinion, interpretation or anchor" forum, apparently. I love it. In other news, it rained in Tibet today. What do you think of that?

Completely right, we shouldn't have to be subject to things our small minds are unable to process, lets put a big wall around us and turn the internet off so we don't have to think about anything that doesn't directly affect us.

No, just when you start a thread, maybe stick in your view, some sort of relevance and bite my left rockisms? Or not, whatever ye prefer. I really don't hugely care. I posted the first thing with about as much regard as a walrus breaking wind. Much like the OP.
