Back to all the regulars now :D

    Ffos Las 5.25

Been waiting for Champagne West to run under rules after he sluiced up in a maiden point here in Ireland quickening like a good horse after the last to win by 12 lengths. Was then sold at the Brightwell sales for £120,000 and bought by Roger Brookhouse who has had an eye for a nice bumper horse in recent times! (Cheltenian and the Liquidator) Trained by Hobbs hopefully he'll run well tomorrow, no idea what sort of price he will be though Monkey Kingdom is forecast to be fav but I'd say Champagne West might be.

    3.40 Ffos Las

    Gormanstown Cuckoo 11/1 NAP

This looks like a right old plot. Has fallen from a mark of 127 back in December to a mark of 119 tomorrow in 4 runs and is now back on the same mark where he absolutely bolted up at Aintree for Colm Murphy back in 2011. The tongue tie he wore to victory that day is reapplied for the first time this season having shaped well but not finding much on his last 3 starts and I think a flood of money is going to come for him.

No penalties for races won after the weights come out

Would be no surprise to see Save my blushes at 20-1 in the 2m handicap (bottom of the handicap) in limerick win in a Denis hogan special..

Ferguson has a runner in the first rated in the 100's on the flat ...honor system...in the first in Kempton. If he takes to hurdles could be a nice price at 3-1

Bradley a non runner. Put a small each way on Fratellino in the Listed sprint at Lingfield at 12/1. Won this last year and runs well over 5 at Lingfield.

Backed Narima at Down Royal in the beginners chase at 12/1. Fancied him the last day and he was well backed. Was going well before a terrible mistake three out. Small stakes

How is The Skyfarmer 5/1 in the bumper at Kempton. Beaten a head in a good race at Ascot first time out, runner up to a 23length first time out winner, third horse won a Listed Bumper on debut. Nicky Henderson has a good record at Kempton but his favourite is unraced and odds on. May prove to be very good but no value there

Fill the power in the Uttoxeter National, must have a good chance

I think Major Malarkey has been primed for this race. Ran a cracker here last year and is guaranteed to stay the trip so getting him E/W at 10s looks a good bet imo

Interesting runner in the 4.00 @ Kempton. Prince Buster is dropped back down to 2m and with some rain around I quite fancy him to run a big race.

Horses I have cursed today: Farmleigh House & Teophilip in the 2.20 & 2.55 at lingfield (2 hoors of races, but should have a sporting chance), The Tracey Shuffle in the 3.15 at uttoxeter (smells like a Pipe plot to me: had been chasing, LTO dropped to 2 miles over hurdles for the first time carrying top weight given an easy time once the pack caught up with him, back up to 2 mile 4 today should see a vastly improved showing: he was 23 lengths ahead of none other than At Fishers Cross when he ran at Punchestown last year in his last run over hurdles at this distance!!) and One In A Milan in the midlands national. Hopeful rather than confident, but happy enough to take a shot with these...

The midlands national looks like a bit of a s*ITE race this year, its normally a bit better than this.anyway, cool operator for me,ground won't be a problem and should stay.stepping up in class, here's hoping.took 13/2 in powers.

The fat ****er will have to recover after Hamilton bet the bollox out of him on Thursday.

Not expecting him to run very fast unless its after a sandwich.

Funnily enough the owner has said he'll run with a hood and a sandwich dangling from a stick that will be placed on top of the hood :D

Two at Lingfield catch the eye today, 2.20 Taajub and the 3.30 Premio Loco, currently 14/1 and 4/1 respectively with Boyles (haven't looked elswhere tbh).

Premio Loco I reckon is overpriced as Farraaj is thought to be the sh1t as they say in non racing circles :pac:

Taajub hasn't been seen for a while and is untried on the AW but at 14/1 is looney big.

I also could see Maxentius running well in the 2.55 but at 7/2 can't quite consider him worthy of a little investment :)

Anyone see street dance in ffos las at 3.10. Straight into the tracker for the next handicap...I'd say McCoy and McManus would be proud of how sneaky that jockey was

No harm done with Gormanstown Cuckoo but he ran into a blot. Couldn't quicken off the heavy ground either.

Did anyone else think the 1st and 2nd in the 4:15 in Ffos Las should have been reversed?

The winner was all over the shop at the last and the second had to be snatched up as he about to be forced outside the wings of the fence, it cost him 2 1/2 lengths and he was beaten 1 length with the winner treading water in the run in.

I think the horse just got tired, he was always beaten at the last and the jockey went handy on him.

Tom O Brien is one of the worst jockeys riding,he is pathetic couldnt keep the horse in a straight line and got outridden by an amatuer, not pocket talking as I'd no bet.

Hobbs cant buy a winner not a sniff of one either at Cheltenham or Deckie Johnson,a stable to avoid.
