Just watching the interviews today with Clare Balding and Rishie, everyone of them genuinely upset over what happened to J T McNamara.

J P, Ruby, A P, Barry G, all of them worried about their colleague. Not even celebrating winning a race today.

Something nice about the way they carry themselves.

It must always be at the back of their mind that it could happen to them next.

The job they do is very underrated. Put themselves in danger everytime they go out; have to live a spartan life foodwise yet still be strong enough to steer and control a a one tonne animal, have to deal with endless ****e from punters who've done their money on their mounts. Not easy.

McCoy in his autobiography tells a story where he was trying to keep his weight down but he was starving so he buys a tube of pringles and licks them and then throws them away.

Tbh its no coincidence the majority of jockeys are stone mad bastards.
