Throathit question for Grind’s, Shane or others in the know

Thinking of getting one of these as I have been delighted with the VV Gripper and now prefer the feel of the box mod’s to the cylinder mods but worried I will make **** of it the first time I drop it as its only made of plastic with a rubbery finish, but need a few tips from those who have or have had one.

1: I see it’s charged like a pass-through as the batt’s cant be taken out, but is the charger compatible with any other device, is there a mobile phone charger that matches the charger with the Throathit? Would hate to lose or break the charger cable and be stuck not being able to re-charge it, so I would want another 1 or 2 as backups.

2: Is the Mod maker open to requests like to install Efest 3100 or 3400 batteries in it instead of his custom IMR 18650 batteries? I don’t mind paying him extra for Efest batteries or the difference between them as they would drastically increase the extra vape time between charges.

Any info would help in my decision to purchase one. Was thinking of contacting him via UKV but thought I'd try and get some feelers first.

I think he sees the AW IMRs as the safest option from what I remember but he will fit other batteries if you send them onto him while reducing the price accordingly. Like Digby says its probably best to contact him though as he could have changed pricing and options available by now.

Are you sure you're in the correct forum? Galaxy Kayaks doesn't sound like an ecig company, and this is a specific thread about a specific ecig mod. Are you on your phone? Accidentally click the link above or below the one you wanted?
