Has anything ever received lower than 4 stars on Music Radar?!

It certainly looks cool but an agathis body is normally not the mark of a high quality instrument.

Ach so. THanks for the input. I had to google it as I didn't know about agathis. I suppose you get what you pay for. I'll keep saving for a G&L then, but in the meantime I might check them out in X-Music to fulfill my lust... Man they look good.

I'm pretty sure I played a few of these, either that or they were copies. Musicmaker in Cork was stocking them for a bit, nice pieces of kit in my opinion.

I've always had a hankering for an Italia instrument, cant figure out why. On paper they should be awful, but they look so good!
Would love to have a try of one, but leftys are hard to come by.

OK. Screw the Mondials. I've made up my mind. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the mother of all my future funky grooves, smooth walking bass lines, and booming bass riffs:

Nevermind the tales of failing strap locks and other poppycawcks. Nevermind that I won't be worthy of her for another 5 years at least. She shall be mine.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go sell my body or parts thereof... :pac:

Does any one want to talk me out of it? Is there anything I should know?

Looks like a great option. There may be better value out there but I have no doubt that it's an excellent bass. The block inlays and neck binding are wonderful too.
