Toyota Corolla 2008 Drivers Door Window Problem

    Hi there,

Have a problem I need some advice on:

I tried to roll down (electric windows) my drivers side window in a 2008 Toyota Corolla yesterday morning, and I heard a bang and and the window stuck a bit and then fell half way down into the door panel. I managed to bring it back up and keep it shut for the rest of the morning. I presume inside the door panel was frozen over and the window would'nt release and this is what caused this.

However, later on in the day while driving the window fell fully down into door panel. I managed to find a Toyota dealer which was open late and he managed to get it back out for me and 'wedged' it closed until I see them later on today, but I'm wondering what the problem could be? And what approx cost it's going to be to get this problem fixed.

    Any advice appreciated.

    FF
