.17hmr garda interview

    hi all,just got a call for an interview about my application for a .17hmr,feeling a bit nervous,any ideas what might be asked?a mate of mine said i might be asked why i need 2 rifles,(i already own a 22lr last 2 years)has anyone been through an interview?thanks all:confused:

    Just kinda standard tell him that you have permission on big Feilds and the .22 just isn't killing rabbits humanely , but that other permissions are to small for the .17 hence needing both

    You can also say your 17 will be your hunting rifle and the 22 is your target rifle because of prices of ammo. The fact that they didn't refuse you straight of is a positive in my eyes they just want to check you and your Story out.

    Put a face to the name lets say.

    He could only say that if he is a member of a range. If you are a range member this is probably the best reason

    stay cool, answer the questions with a straight answer and you will be fine.
    they will try to rise you, but pass no heed. its part of the process...
