Fairgreen Car Park!

Will they ever get it right?? As far as I'm concerned the new red poles supposed to direct all traffic down the first lane have made a bad situation worse. It's very bady designed in the first place, but the idea that all traffic coming in that way should queue to try and get into the car park, waiting weile cars back in/out of spaces is ludicrous....it's so frustrating. It has put me off going in there at all. (and yes, I have thought of parking in the Next car park but can't when I have a car with kids and need to do a big grocery shop. Nor can I park in the car park left of the entrance as I have to be near a trolley bag with a young baby.
    GGGrrrrr!!

But sure no matter what way you go in to the car park, you'll always have people coming in and going out of spaces...that's in every car park to be fair!

So rather than wait a max of 5 minutes more you'd prefer to just not go in there at all..I see, Interesting stuff.

I never saw it as a problem to be honest

I don't see the issue here as you are not supposed to turn right when entering and the red poles are only enforcing that. In my opinion they improve the situation as it prevents people making right turns now which used to occur and normally people would turn too acutely making it dangerous if you were exiting as you have to action to avoid them despite you being in the right.

I was reversing out of the first row of spaces once and a car going the wrong way trying to sneak out quickly nearly drove straight into me. So if it makes people follow the correct flow of traffic I'm all for it.

My point is that the car park is so badly designed....people and cars dodging each other, and now cars entering in to the car park are all channelled through the one row sooo slowly and delayed even more by those reversing in and out of spaces.....
