A number of recent announcements point towards a big crisis in the print industry.

Trinity Mirror profits have fallen 75%. Advertising and circulation dropped significantly in 2012 and there has been a "bad start" to 2013.

Meanwhile, The Telepraph are to cut 80 print jobs to focus on digital.

A few weeks ago, the FT announced a large number of redundancies.

Cuts and more cuts. The print industry is truly in crisis mode.
