Quick question, have the car booked in for the NCT tomorrow (have know idea why, but left it too late to change to a weekend date).

Do it have to be me that brings the car for the test, or can I send someone else (wife) along with it? It's the Tullamore test centre and I know they're very weird about things there.

I cannot see anything on either my booking mail or the ncts website to confirm..

And just be clear, its not car owners id. Its the presenting persons id.

Don't forget the VRC, NCT will test the car without it, but no cert. until you show it.

They will test the car without the VRC. I've never been asked for mine only personal ID i.e driving license.
