What ACCA qualification do you have?
Surely if you are a qualified accountant with ACCA you're not going to retrain fully at ACA?

You don't need any exams for a trainee position.

    OP

You dont need to be chartered to work or take up a training position in a chartered firm. They should be able to sign off the training records as required.

    Hope this helps

Thanks. Most of the company would provide a training course for trainee. They might not like to employ somebody who doesn't want to be a chartered accountant.

    Hey

They dont have to pay for study leave. You should be able to pick things up easily as you have the exams. They will be fine about it.

If you get an interview it will most likely be with a CA I wouldn't let them know you don't want to be a CA, just make it clear you want to finish qualifying as an accountant.
