    How far is it from the centre of Portlaoise? Is it within walking distance?

    It's on the outskirts.

    I'd say about a 20min brisk walk but certainly not one I'd be doing in heels, it's about 2.5Km to the town centre.

    Definitely a long stretch from there to Main St, but walkable.

    A nice walk 20 min walk during the day , taxi will cost 5 euro
